…we had today in the last sharing assembly of term this morning.
The work that was shared across the school shows how busy the children have been even though they have been in the midst of Christmas celebrations. We listened to a poem recital from Chestnut, a re-write of the Gruffalo from Hazel, saw a moving model of a bicycle, and listened to examples of the stories Willow Class had written based on traditional fairy tales.
The ‘Quick writers of the week’ did a fantastic job reading their quick writes which were all about ‘the play’. Great to hear so many different interpretations of the topic. Of particular note was the playlet written by Amelia which was acted out on stage by Miss Taylor and Mrs Kaye. The whole audience was in stitches – staff, children and parents!
Well done to Choir Club for the praise they received for their singing at Luncheon Club on Tuesday.
And finally congratulations to our Stars of the Week who all shone in their own ways.
There were lots of proud parents and teachers. Well done all.
