Our Year 6s led a short Remembrance service at the War Memorial today to remember those who have fought in all wars and especially those who lost their lives. We held a two minute silence followed by reading out the names of the fifteen servicemen from Christian Malford who had lost their lives in World War I and II. A poem called ‘Lest We Forget’ and a prayer, both of which had been written for the occasion by Chestnut Class was read. You can also see the Remembrance display which was created by Chestnut and Elm Classes. If you would like to see the actual board, you may visit the Church where it is currently on display.
