The annual Christian Malford Scarecrow Trail is taking place next weekend – Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March. It’s always a great event whatever the weather so we look forward to seeing lots of visitors over the course of weekend trying to work out the which musical of stage or screen the scarecrows represent.
We do still need volunteers to help out on both days, either at school or the recreation ground to serve refreshments or sell raffle tickets and trail sheets. If you are able to help out you will find the sign-up sheet in the foyer, or if you can’t get into school, contact the office.
If you are not able to help out at the weekend, you can help out in other ways too such as donating items for the children’s tombola, buying raffle tickets or donating cakes for the refreshments.
75% of the funds raised to will go to Christian Malford Primary School and Acorns Preschool, but there will also be a donation of 12.5% to a Christian Malford community project and 12.5% to a local charity chosen by one of the sponsors.
