So much to celebrate

We had so much to celebrate in today’s assembly. This week our sharing included the children from Willow sharing all about the number 3, writing about the Magic Porridge Pot from Elm and persuasive writing about chocolate bars from Hazel. We also heard about Chestnut’s visit to Sheldon School to learn more about chemistry. We then reminded ourselves of the fantastic amount of money the Scarecrow Trail raised back in March. Substantial amounts of money had already been presented to the School and Acorns back in the summer but there was still more money to give! A representative from Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Chair of the Parish Council collected cheques for £700 each. The money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance will be put towards the vital work they do transporting critically injured and ill patients to hospital. The Parish Council will be using the money to provide more benches in the Meadow and at the Rec.

Thank you to everyone who comes to help us celebrate our learning and everything we do in school each week in our Friday assembly.

Photos from this week’s learning can be found here and we have also uploaded lots of photos from last week’s Year 6 residential – click here to take a look.
