The School is able to take a maximum of 17 children to the first year of entry in any academic year. This is based on the physical capacity of the School and will only be exceeded in exceptional circumstances. The School follows Wiltshire Council admissions policy.
Children are entitled to a full-time place in the September following their fourth birthday. However, there are some circumstances in which parents can seek a place for their child outside of their normal age group, In addition, from 2015, parents of a summer born child have been able to choose not to send that child to school until the September following their fifth birthday. All applications for children requesting admission outside their normal age group will be processed as outlined in Wiltshire Council’s Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme, which has been drafted in line with the School Admissions Code (see below).
The Local Board has approved the policy for the September 2019 intake (please see below). Any objections (if you think the arrangements are unlawful or do not comply with the School Admissions Code) should be made to the Schools Adjudicator by 15 May.
